The collar is braided in a tight round pattern from a weather-resistant polyester-cotton blend cord that holds up to mud, splashes, and repeated washing while staying gentle enough against the neck of a medium dog. The braid is pulled to an even tension by hand, so the collar keeps a firm round shape instead of flattening or twisting, and the olive and tan strands line up cleanly around the whole band. We chose muted earthy tones that look at home on a trail or a sidewalk and soften nicely with use.
A solid brass buckle closes the collar with punched adjustment holes along the tail, and a welded D-ring sits beside the buckle for clipping on the leash and ID tag. The cord ends are sealed and wrapped at both hardware points so the braid cannot unravel under pulling, and a keeper loop holds the tail in place. We designed this collar for everyday companion dogs who walk, sniff, and occasionally roll — comfortable for all-day wear, easy to rinse off, and built to last through many seasons of outings.
